Saskatoon Blades News Release

Only two more home games remain in the regular season for the Saskatoon Blades.

One of those games goes tomorrow night as the Blades play host to the Prince Albert Raiders for the final time this season!

These two teams met last week in Prince Albert, with the Blades blanking the Raiders by a score of 2-0.

The game has a tremendous meaning when it comes to the WHL's Eastern Conference playoff standings. A solid split with the Wheat Kings allowed the Blades to clinch a playoff spot over the weekend, but where they finish in the East is still very much up for grabs.

As it stands right now, the Blades sit in 7th place with a total of 79 points. But, with three games left, they only sit one point back of both Calgary and Kootenay who sit at 80 points.

It's a big week for the Blades as they host PA, before ending the year with a home and home against the Swift Current Broncos. The Blades also have all kinds of interesting promotions planned for the final two home games so check out the details below!
