
Sarpy County Stadium Groundbreaking Scheduled

Omaha Royals President Alan Stein and Sarpy County Board of Commissioners chairwoman Joni Jones announced today the Royals and Sarpy County will hold a groundbreaking on the site of the new ballpark on Wednesday, August 12. Government officials from Sarpy County and the greater Omaha metro area will be on hand for the groundbreaking. The event is open to the public. Typical baseball fare will be served and there will be special attractions for members of Little League teams who attend the event.
