
Santa Cruz Warriors Re-Acquire Scott Machado

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have re-acquired guard Scott Machado.
Machado, 23, began the season in training camp with the Utah Jazz, where he averaged 1.3 points and 2.0 assists in six preseason contests. Last season, he appeared in 10 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 6.5 points and 3.4 assists on his way to earning All-NBA D-League Rookie First Team honors. The 6'2", 205-pound guard earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Golden State Warriors on April 7, 2013, and he appeared in five playoff games with Golden State. Machado started last season with the Houston Rockets, where he appeared in six games.
Machado led the nation in assists (327) his senior year at Iona College. He was named the 2009 MAAC Rookie of the Year and the 2012 MAAC Player of the Year.
Machado will wear jersey #12.
