Savannah Sand Gnats News Release

Savannah, GA - The Savannah Sand Gnats, in response to the recent Wells Report and subsequent suspension of Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady by the NFL, have announced their newest on-field promotion, Reinflategate.

Reinflategate will take place between innings at Historic Grayson Stadium. Fans will race to inflate a football to exactly 12.5 PSI, and the fan closest to "regulation pressure" will win the race. Unlike the alleged situation in Foxborough, Mass., underinflating footballs during Reinflategate will not get you suspended for four games.

Reinflategate will make its debut at Budweiser Thirsty Thursday on May 14th.

Savannah Sand Gnats team President John Katz, a native New Englander, refused to issue a statement on this matter and referred all questions to Clubhouse Manager, Levi Edwards.

The Sand Gnats will return home for a seven-game homestand on Thursday, May 14th. The Gnats upcoming homestand features St. Joseph's/Candler Facebook Flashback Friday with a Personal Care Items/Paper Goods Drive for St. Mary's, and Star Wars Night on Friday, May 15th, Pink in the Park benefitting Susan G. Koman For The Cure Coastal Georgia Affiliate on Saturday, May 16th, and TailsSpin Bark in the Park on Sunday, May 17th.
