Savannah Sand Gnats News Release
SAVANNAH, Ga. - Heavy rains and wet field conditions have caused the cancellation of Thursday night's doubleheader between the Lakewood BlueClaws and the Savannah Sand Gnats. These two games will not be made up.
Fans that hold tickets for Wednesday or Thursday night's rain outs can exchange their tickets for any of the Gnats 10 remaining home games this season. Friday night is Hilton Head/Bluffton Community Night presented by St. Joseph's/Candler. Fans that are from those areas can pick up their free tickets courtesy of St. Joseph's/Candler at the Bluffton Medical Center in Bluffton, S.C.
Fans that also bring a toiletry item to donate to Williams Court can also receive a free general admission ticket to Friday night's game. Fireworks will follow the KIX 96 Friday night home game presented by the Savannah Mall.
Savannah will welcome the Delmarva Shorebirds, a Baltimore Orioles affiliate, to town for a four-game series beginning Friday night at Grayson Stadium. This is the first time the Shorebirds have visited Georgia's First City since 2003. For tickets and more information, visit www.sandgnats.com or call 912.351.9150.
