SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will look to close the gap for a spot in the playoffs when they face Houston Dynamo on Saturday at Robertson Stadium in Houston, Texas. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT and will air live on Comcast SportsNet California, 1220 KDOW (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
San Jose defeated Houston 2-0 with goals from Steven Lenhart and Simon Dawkins when the teams last faced off on June 4 at Buck Shaw Stadium.
San Jose is currently five points back of D.C. United for the final playoff spot and seven behind Houston, who holds the No. 9 position. Ten teams qualify for the MLS Cup Playoffs.
