
U.S. Women's National Team to Hold Open Practice for Fans Tonight

KANSAS CITY (Sept. 16, 2011) - All U.S. Soccer fans are invited to attend the U.S. Women's National Team public training session tonight from 5-6:30 p.m. CT at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Admission and parking are free.
Fans and media members can park in Lots F and G. Gates will open at 4 p.m. CT and fans will enter through the Sprint Plaza. Media members should stop at the media check-in to receive bibs and directions. Media who are credentialed for the match may pick-up their credential if they have not already done so.
The U.S. Women will face Canada on Saturday, Sept. 17 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in their first match since the end of the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup. Kickoff is 6 p.m. CT and fans are encouraged to remain in their seats following the match for a full-stadium watch party as Sporting Kansas City's match at Real Salt Lake is shown live on KSMO-TV at 8 p.m. CT on the stadium videoboards and in the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Members' Club.
Tickets are on sale by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Kansas City area, as well as at the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park box offices.

The U.S. team will also face Canada on Sept. 22 at JELD-WEN Field in Portland, Ore., in this two-game "Celebration Series." U.S. head coach Pia Sundhage and the players are holding open trainings in both markets to thank the fans for their tremendous support this summer during the Women's World Cup.
