It was the first time the Giants had been swept in a series this season. San Jose then swept a four-game series in Stockton to finish with a winning record on the trip. It marked the Giants' first road series sweep of the season.
Sweep In Stockton With last night's victory, the Giants achieved their first four-game sweep in Stockton since the opening weekend of the 2007 season (April 5-8). San Jose improved to 7-0 against the Ports this year (7-11 against the rest of the league).
