San Francisco Giants Make Transactions

Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
The San Francisco Giants have made the following transactions affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to Friday's game with Bowie:
C Eliezer Zambrano transferred to Augusta (A)...C Aaron Lowenstein received from San Jose (A+) [24 + 4 DL]
The corresponding moves leave the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Four players (C Nestor Rojas, RF Roger Kieschnick, SS Brandon Crawford, 1B Andy D'Alessio) are currently on the Disabled List.
Lowenstein has been assigned uniform #16
