
San Diego Wave FC Names Laura Wolf Stein as Vice President of Marketing

San Diego Wave Fútbol Club announced today the addition of Laura Wolf Stein to the club's executive team where she will serve as Vice President of Marketing, reporting directly to club president Jill Ellis.
Stein joins Wave FC from Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) where she led all marketing and PR initiatives. Her leadership helped elevate CAF's mission through unified messaging, athlete storytelling, pro athlete engagements, pro sport team activations, content creation, event marketing, and earned media.
Before that, she served as the VP of Marketing for SKLZ, a sport training brand, where she oversaw the go-to-market strategy for all major sport categories, with a sharp focus on building credibility, excitement, and new business in soccer globally. Additionally, Laura worked for over a decade across various business units at Sony electronics and Sony pictures connecting consumers to Sony products through sports, movies, music and games.
"I am thrilled to join Wave FC to help create a professional football club built around the athleticism, passion, and leadership of women on the field and in our community," said Stein. "Wave FC will be a club that all of San Diego will be proud to support."
