Angel City Football Club Officially Signs Savannah McCaskill, Cari Roccaro, Tyler Lussi, and Brittany Wilson Isenhour

LOS ANGELES - Angel City Football Club (ACFC) today confirmed the signing of midfielder Savannah McCaskill, midfielder Cari Roccaro, forward Tyler Lussi, and goalkeeper Brittany Wilson Isenhour. This group joins the previously announced ACFC players taking the pitch at Banc of California Stadium for the club's inaugural season in the Spring. All four players join ACFC on two-year contracts.

"We are thrilled to announce and officially add more great players to our roster as we head into our first week of training," said Head Coach of Angel City Football Club Freya Coombe. "We have been preparing for this moment and it's finally here. I can't wait to get started."

McCaskill was traded to ACFC from Racing Louisville after playing in the club's inaugural 2021 season following successful stints with the Chicago Red Stars, Sydney FC, and Sky Blue FC. McCaskill represented the United States U-23 national team and was nominated for U.S. Soccer's 2017 Young Female Athlete of the Year award. She was also named to the U.S. roster for the 2018 SheBelieves Cup where she appeared in all three games. McCaskill played collegiate soccer at the University of South Carolina, where she started in all 25 matches and tied for the most points on the team playing as a forward despite initially being recruited as a defender.

Roccaro, the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NWSL Draft, joined the Houston Dash where she appeared in 18 matches for a total of 1,500 playing minutes. In 2018, Roccaro signed with the North Carolina Courage where she made her debut against Houston in a 1-1 draw. She made her first appearance for the U.S. U-20 National Team roster in 2009. During her tenure with the U-20 team, Roccaro won the 2012 Tokyo U-20 World Cup and served as co-captain in 2014. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where she was named Big East Rookie of the Year in 2012, accompanying her six goals and one assist for the season. In her senior season, Roccaro led the Notre Dame defense, only allowing eleven goals during the season.

A third-round pick in the 2017 NWSL Draft, Lussi was selected by the Portland Thorns and made her professional debut one week after signing. Since joining the Portland roster, Lussi has played in 42 games with five goals and four assists. Lussi played for the Princeton Tigers during her collegiate career, during which she was named Ivy Player of the Week nine times throughout her four seasons. Lussi was awarded Ivy League Offensive Player of the year consecutively in 2014 and 2015.

Isenhour signed with the Orlando Pride through the 2021 season and played the full 90 minutes during her Fall Series debut. She made five saves, including one that earned NWSL Save of the Week honors. The goalkeeper spent her collegiate career with the University of Denver, where she played in 80 games with 25 shutouts, the fourth most in program history.
