San Diego Signs Koby Perry for 2024

San Diego Strike Force News Release


The San Diego Strike Force have signed defensive back Koby Perry to their 2024 Indoor Football League roster.

Perry (6-0, 190, Central Florida) joins the Strike Force for his first season as a member of the IFL. In his final collegiate season for the Knights, in 2022, he saw action in 13 games (started three) and recorded 56 total tackles (33 solo).

Prior to attending UCF, Koby played two seasons at Austin Peay. After appearing in nine games during the split season in 2020-21, he went on to start all 11 games in the fall and earned Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-OVC honors after finishing with a single-season career-best 85 total tackles (51 solo), eight tackles for loss, and two interceptions - one of which was returned for a touchdown.

Koby started his collegiate career at NJCAA's Dodge City CC (Kansas) where he played in 19 games over his two seasons (2017, 2018) and recorded 129 total tackles (91 solo). He attended Troy University in 2019.

Perry played his prep career at Alcovy High School in Covington, Georgia where he earned First Team All-Region and All-Conference honors after his senior season where he posted 56 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two interceptions, and eight pass breakups while adding 305 all-purpose yards. He also lettered in basketball and track for the Tigers.

The Strike Force will open the 2024 season on the road against the Duke City Gladiators before hosting the San Antonio Gunslingers for their home opener at Pechanga Arena on Monday, April 1st.
