Sacramento heads into the match after recording two losses and a draw in their last three league matches. Midfielder Jack Barmby also continues to be a catalyst for the team. The England native has recorded 29 shots, 25 successful dribbles, and 24 chances created so far this season in addition to his four goals and three assists in all competitions.
On the defensive end, SAFC defenders Eby Ackon, Joshua Yaro, and Kai Greene are the only players on the squad who have featured in every minute for the club this season. Yaro leads the team with 52 clearances, while Greene leads with 18 interceptions and 43 tackles. Goalkeeper Matthew Cardone has also recorded 32 saves so far in 2019, which are tied for the third-most in the league. The San Antonio native has also recorded three clean sheets.
The match marks the third in the span of eight days for SAFC, all of which have been on the road. The Alamo City club will return to Toyota Field on Saturday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. as it hosts Reno 1868 FC during Military Appreciation Night, presented by Toyota.
