CHICAGO, IL - Andrew Agozzino snapped a tie game just 1:15 into the third period lifting the San Antonio Rampage (9-3-1-0) to a 2-1 win over the Chicago Wolves (4-6-1-0) on Saturday at Allstate Arena.
Wolves forward Brandon Pirri opened the scoring at 11:21 when he slipped a backhand shot past Rampage goalie Spencer Martin for a 1-0 lead. Adam Musil netted the equalizer at 14:04 knocking Jordan Schmaltz's rebound into the cage to even the game at 1-1.
After neither team scored in the second period, the Rampage got the decisive goal in the final stanza when David Warsofsky intercepted a clearing attempt and found a wide open Agozzino who knocked the puck into the Wolves net giving the Rampage a 2-1 lead that they would not relinquish.
