SAN DIEGO GULLS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES

November 13, 2017 - American Hockey League (AHL) - San Diego Gulls News Release

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled right wing Kyle Thomas from the Utah Grizzlies, San Diego's primary affiliate in the ECHL .

Thomas, 27 (1/31/90), began the season with the Grizzlies, collecting 2-1214 points with a +1 rating and 12 penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games. At the time of his recall, the 6-0, 191-pound forward ranked second among ECHL leader in assists (12) and tied for fourth in points (14).

The Waltham, Mass. native made his AHL debut with the Cleveland Monsters in 2016-17, recording 1-12 points with four PIM in 12 games. He has appeared in 161 career ECHL games with Utah (2017-18), Fort Wayne (2015-17), Quad City (2014-15) and Reading (2013-14), recording 47-83130 points with a +28 rating and 142 PIM.
