Peter White scored the game-winner in overtime as the Norfolk Admirals edged the SanAntonio Rampage, 4-3, to take the first game of their best-of-five series. White netted the game-winner with 2:53 left in the first overtime with assists going to Casey Hankinson and Todd Gill, who had three helpers. Burke Henry's goal tied the score at 3-3 6:01 into the third period for the Admirals, who were 1-3 against San Antonio during the regular season. Craig Andersson stopped 32 shots, including 10 in overtime, to earn the win. Byron Ritchie and Pierre Dagenais each scored a second-period goal and Mike Green had two assists for the Rampage. Chris Mason made 43 saves, including 28 between the third period and overtime, but was saddled with the loss. Game two is set for Friday night, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Norfolk.
