
Salt Lake Bees Return Home for LEGO Weekend

SALT LAKE CITY - The first-place Salt Lake Bees return to Smith's Ballpark for a five-game series against the El Paso Chihuahuas (Triple-A San Diego Padres) beginning Thursday night. The homestand is headlined by the LEGO Playball Tour which visits the ballpark from April 28-30. Below is an overview of the game times, activities, giveaways and community nights happening at the ballpark over the homestand.
Thursday, April 27 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.
- First series of the year against the defending Pacific Coast League champion El Paso Chihuahuas. Last season the Bees finished 6-10 against the Triple-A affiliate of the Padres.
- Coors Thirsty Thursday with $2.75 drinks. Friday, April 28 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.
- The first day of the LEGO Playball Tour which includes LEGO build stations, models and photo areas in the centerfield pavilion.
- Baked Bear Post-Game Kids Run. Following the game kids 12-and-under can run the bases. Saturday, April 29 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.
- The LEGO Playball Tour continues which includes LEGO build stations, models and photo areas in the centerfield pavilion.
- Sons of Baseball MVP visit.
- Baked Bear Post-Game Kids Run. Following the game kids 12-and-under can run the bases. Sunday, April 30 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 1:05 p.m.
- The final day of the LEGO Playball Tour which includes LEGO build stations, models and photo areas in the centerfield pavilion.
- University of Utah Health Safe in the Sunday Monday, May 1 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.
- Smith's Family Night, four tickets and four hot dogs can be purchased for just $20 at Smith's Tix locations. Additional details about all Bees promotions are available at www.slbees.com.
