Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that a 2009 Cadillac SRX is guaranteed to be given away at this Saturday's season finale as part of the "Shoot-to-Win" contest courtesy of Dave Wheaton Chevrolet Buick Cadillac GMC and the Times Colonist.
During the second intermission on Saturday, the Cadillac SRX is guaranteed to be given away to one fan for the finale of the Shoot-to-Win contest! 10 contestants will be selected from all ballot entries throughout the year, and will each be given a car key. One lucky fan will hold the right key to drive home in the brand-new Cadillac!
Saturday's season finale is also Fan Appreciation Night! During the first intermission, 10 fans will be selected to take part in the National Bank Financial's "Fun Bucks" promotion. Fun bucks will be dropped from the rafters, and the contestant who collects the most falling bucks will take home that amount in cash! National Bank Financial will also match the cash prize in a donation to the Mustard Seed.
Marty the Marmot will also entertain fans during the intermission with a special on-ice performance! After the contest on Saturday, Salmon Kings' forward Andy Brandt will be signing autographs outside of the Victoria locker room.
During tomorrow's series-opener versus Utah, Bear Mountain and Nevada Bob's will be on hand offering prizes that include four rounds of golf and a one-night stay for four (two rooms) at Bear Mountain Resort, with a value of $1000!
The Vancouver Island Brewery and Highland Pacific Golf will be on-site this Friday with their "Find the Keg" intermission promotion, where one blindfolded fan will attempt to locate a keg on the ice for special prizes. SHAW will also present their final "Customer Appreciation Night " where they will offer the chance to win prizes such as Shaw Digital Cable Terminals, NHL Centre Ice Packages and Vancouver Canucks Pay-Per-View coupons. One lucky fan this Friday will be awarded their grand prize giveaway of a brand-new LCD television along with a High-Definition PVR system.
During all three games this week versus Utah, the Salmon Kings will also be handing out special Fan Zone coupons that can be redeemed to purchase a $10 ticket for the team's opening home game of the 2010 Kelly Cup playoffs. Tickets for the first two games of the Kelly Cup playoffs in Victoria are on-sale tomorrow, with dates and times to be determined.
The Salmon Kings are home to host the Utah Grizzlies this Wednesday, March 31st, Friday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 3rd for the final series of the 2009-10 regular season. Puck drop for all three games is at 7:05 p.m. This Saturday's contest is "Sellout Saturday". Nearly sold out, limited Club Seats and singles in the bowl are still available.
