Today, Wilfred Pichardo was sent to Greenville. Salem receives Vladimir Frias from Portland.

The Red Sox also received Stolmy Pimentel from Portland; he fills the roster spot vacated by Michael Gleason, who was sent to Greenville on Monday. Pimentel, Salem's Opening Day starter last season, will be on the mound tonight in Myrtle Beach.
