Coming Up This Week – The Saints play three games in three nights this week with a road game against Odessa on Thursday and home games against Lubbock and Austin on Friday and Saturday.

Upcoming Promotions – The Saints will have Happy Hours both Friday and Saturday with 50-cent draft beer, sodas and hot dogs & 50% off Saints merchandise from 6-7 p.m. Public skating will also be just 50-cents after each game. On Friday Meals for the Elderly will be tossing out Mardi Gras beads and there will be toss-out gifts from Healthsouth during the 1st intermission. On Saturday Gandy Ink will toss 250 free Saints t-shirts into the crowd during each intermission.

Streaks – The Saints remain one of the hottest teams in the CHL with a 6-2-2 record in their last 10 games and a 3-1-1 record in their last 5 games. Ryan Finnerty has a 4-game point-scoring streak intact and Tyler Knight has a 3-game streak.

Week In Review – The Saints went 2-1-1 this week with home wins over Odessa and Wichita, a road overtime loss to Tulsa and a road loss at Bossier-Shreveport.

Feb. 3rd / Odessa 2 - San Angelo 4 / Kevin Vandewater scored two goals and Scott Reid notched 40 saves as the Saints beat the Jackalopes for the 7th time in 9 games this season. Kevin Wilson and Derek Booth each recorded a goal and an assist for the Saints.

Feb. 6th / San Angelo 1 - Tulsa 2 (OT) / The Oilers scored with 1.6 seconds remaining in the over-time period to top the Saints on Friday night. Ryan Finnerty scored the only goal for the Saints who were out-shot 51-38. Scott Reid had 49 saves in the loss.

Feb. 7th / San Angelo 2 - Bossier-Shreveport 5 / The Mudbugs broke open a tight game with 5 goals in the 2nd period, then cruised to the win on Saturday. Tyler Knight and Chris Minard each scored for the Saints, but a couple of key Saints mistakes and two nice power-play goals by the Mudbugs led to the easy ‘Bugs win.

Feb. 8th / Wichita 2 - San Angelo 5 / Chris Minard scored a league-high 5 goals, including 4 in the 2nd period to lead the Saints to the win. Minard scored his 5 goals on just 6 shots and his stick is on the way to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Scott Reid picked up his 23rd win of the season.

Player Moves: Dusty Hunter is on Season Ending Injured Reserve. John Jarram remains on the 45-day Injured Reserve. Dan Reja and Scott Mahar have been put on the 14-day IR. Corri Moffat and Konrad Brand both came off IR this week.
