Bucks Need Just Two Points To Clinch Playoff Berth And SE Division Title

LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Bucks have the best record in the CHL at 38-6-4 with 80 points and are now just two points away from clinching the second playoff berth in franchise history. If the Bucks beat the Fort Worth Brahmas this Wednesday in an 11 a.m. face off at the Laredo Entertainment Center, Laredo would not only clinch a playoff berth, but also the first Southeast Division title in the history of the franchise. SPECIAL EVENTS

· Wednesday's game is an 11 a.m. face off at the LEC.

· Saturday's game when the Bucks host the Rio Grande Valley Bees on Valentine's Day will feature some ‘lovely' fun. The game will feature a couples karaoke contest and appropriately enough a kissing contest featuring the Beso Cam. Prizes include an all expenses paid trip to San Antonio a $250 cash award from Cheers plus a free weekend car rental from Enterprise. There will be two prize packs given out.

· After Saturday's game selected Bucks players will be in the MVP lounge.

· Bucks Weekly airs every Monday night on Laredo News Talk AM 1490 KLNT at 6 p.m. The hour long radio program will allow the fans an opportunity to learn more about the Bucks and hockey.
