Saints Ready to Party as Individual Tickets Go on Sale Saturday

ST. PAUL, MN (March 21, 2011) - When the St. Paul Saints host Tickets On Sale Day presented by Sun Country Airlines this Saturday, fans will have the opportunity to walk away with much more than individual tickets to all regular season home games. All fans purchasing tickets in-person at the Saints Box Office will be entered in a drawing to win big prizes including roundtrip domestic airfare, a one-night stay at a landmark hotel and a $150 gas/convenience store gift card.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, fans will have their first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for all 50 Saints regular season home games. This includes Opening Day May 12, the Independence Celebration July 1, Fan Appreciation Day August 26, and Friday Night Fireworks dates throughout the season.

All fans that purchase an individual ticket to any home game in person at the Saints Box Office between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. will be entered into a random drawing for prizes valued up to $1,000.

The prizes include a pair of roundtrip domestic airline tickets courtesy of Sun County Airlines ($1,000 value), a one-night stay at The Saint Paul Hotel ($189 value) and a $150 gift card courtesy of Winner Gas/Pump N' Munch at 2233 Energy Park Drive in St. Paul. For each single game ticket purchased in person, fans will receive one entry into the drawing for these prizes. The drawing will take place at 2 p.m. and winners need not be present to collect their prize.

Fans may also purchase Saints tickets by phone (651-644-6659) and online (saintsbaseball.com) beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Only fans who purchase tickets in person will be eligible to win the prizes, however.

"This will be the first opportunity for Saints fans to break out the grills, stock the coolers and tailgate at Midway Stadium as we close in on the 2011 season," said Saints General Manager Derek Sharrer. "With affordable tickets, a promotional schedule full of laughs, and an opportunity to win great prizes, this Tickets On Sale party is one you don't want to miss!"

Saints tickets continue to be a tremendous value. Tickets are $5 for general admission, $8 for outfield reserved and $12 for infield reserved. Friday Home Games with Post-Game Fireworks (except July 1, August 26) are an additional $2 per ticket. Saints Special Event Home Games with Post-Game Fireworks (July 1, August 26) are an additional $3 per ticket. Tickets purchased on the Day of the Game are an additional $1 per ticket. Children under the age of 12 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price. Children under 2 that don't require a seat are free.

Saints season ticket packages including the new Be Your Own Fan Flex Plan and specialty seating areas including the Hot Tub, Walser Tailgater and Warners' Stellian Clubhouse are currently on sale for all 2011 home games.

Beginning March 26, Saints Box Office Hours on non-gamedays are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. On gamedays, the Box Office will open at 9 a.m. Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday and will remain open until 15 minutes following each game. The Box Office will be closed Saturday, July 2.
