ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis FC has signed Schillo Tshuma, a 23 year old midfielder originally from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Tshuma comes to Saint Louis by way of the Portland Timbers who drafted him with the 17th overall pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.

While with Portland, Tshuma was loaned to USL side Arizona United SC where he appeared in 17 matches in 2014 and with the Timbers 2 in 2015 where he made ten appearances.

"It's good to have Schillo with the team." said Coach Dale Schilly. "He's a good player, very athletic and a hard worker with a lot of tools that are necessary to play at the next level. Here he will have an opportunity to train regularly with regular minutes."

Collegiately, Tshuma played at the University of Maryland where he scored 16 goals and added three assists in 49 games over two seasons with the Terrapins.
