FC Tulsa News Release
The Tulsa Roughnecks have finalized terms with a pair of defenders in preparation for the club's season opener Saturday night at ONEOK Field. The Roughnecks announced that they have added Raymond Lee and Anthony Peters to their squad.
Both defenders have spent time with the team during preseason training and will provide experience to Tulsa's backline.
Raymond Lee
Lee spent last season in Major League Soccer with the Philadelphia Union. The Kansas City native was a 2015 MLS SuperDraft selection by the Union and saw action in one regular season match. Lee, who attended St. Louis University, is primarily a left back.
Peters comes to Tulsa after spending last season in the USL with the Wilmington Hammerheads. The 6' 6" center back has also played in the USL with the Harrisburg City Islanders and the Richmond Kickers.
Anthony Peters
During his career, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native has also had stints with clubs in England, Wales, Norway and Iceland.
Both Peters and Lee will be available to Head Coach David Irving for Saturday's opener.
Tickets for the opening match, and all other matches this season, are available online at TulsaRoughnecksFC.com, over the telephone at (918)744-5901 or in-person at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office. A number of season ticket packages are also still available.
