Saginaw Spirit News Release
The Saginaw Spirit and Andersen Eye Associates will be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for number of people wearing groucho glasses at one time. The first 2000 fans to arrive at the February 24th game will be given a free pair of groucho glasses. The 7:11pm game will see the Spirit take on the Belleville Bulls.
The groucho glasses record attempt will coincide with a charity event, where Andersen Eye is asking that fans donate any used glasses they may have for use in Andersen Eye Foundation's community outreach programs.
Andersen Eye serves the Mid-Michigan community by providing a wide array of high-quality eye-care services, treating a variety of medical conditions ranging from cataracts to laser surgery. Andersen Eye Foundation provides free eye care and glasses to the indigent and underinsured.
