Sadhra-Kang Inks with Hurricanes

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club have signed 2003-born defenseman Kayden Sadhra-Kang to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
Sadhra-Kang, 17, was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the ninth round (195th overall) in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. The Richmond, BC product appeared in 36 games with the St. George's School U18 Prep team in 2019-2020 where he totaled 18 points (1g-17a) along with 36 penalty minutes. The 6'3, 185-pound defenseman appeared in 93 games with the St. George's School at various levels over three seasons collecting 64 points (11g-53a) along with 69 penalty minutes.
In 2019-2020, Sadhra-Kang also appeared in three games with the Surrey Eagles of the British Columbia Hockey League (Junior-A) where he registered one assist and two penalty minutes.
Sadhra-Kang is one of eight defenseman on the Hurricanes roster for the 2021 regular season.
The Hurricanes being the 24-game 2021 season on Friday when they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings before welcoming Edmonton on Saturday at the ENMAX Centre.
