March 14, 2024 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Swift Current Broncos News Release
Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos are back in the WHL Playoffs for the first time since 2018.
With talent up and down the lineup, the Broncos are ready to roll in the post-season. That means it's time for the City of Swift Current to #SaddleUp for the 2024 WHL Playoffs!
"As a group we are super excited to bring playoff hockey back to Swift Current," said captain Owen Pickering. "Feeling the buzz in the town has helped us a lot down the stretch and we're excited to carry that into the playoffs."
Last time the Broncos were in the playoffs, they became WHL Champions! The team is looking to repeat that situation again this season.
"It's an exciting time for our organization and our fans," said VP of Business Operations Kevin Simpson. "I'm proud of our players and you can really feel the buzz around town for the team. It was great to sell out the InnovationPlex for our game against Brandon and we're looking forward to some more sellout crowds as we chase a Central Division title and get into the playoffs. We have the best fans in the WHL so it's going to be an exciting post season here in Swift Current."
Tickets are already selling fast for the opening games of the post-season, and you can get yours at tickets.scbroncos.com or by going to The Stable!
Playoff merchandise is in the process of being made and will be available soon!
