Sacramento Republic FC to Host UC Davis Men's Soccer Team on March 13

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC will host the UC Davis Men's Soccer Team in their annual preseason matchup on March 13 at Cosumnes River College. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. This will be the third consecutive preseason the two teams have met. Limited tickets will be available.

"We are pleased that we are able to continue this great preseason tradition," said Republic FC President Warren Smith. "The match will continue to strengthen the ties between the two teams, both of which have a common goal to make our region a better place to live, work and play."

UC Davis finished their 2015 campaign with an 8-10-3 overall record and 3-4-3 mark in Big West Conference play earning their fifth consecutive trip to the conference tournament. UC Davis defeated Cal State Northridge in their first conference tournament match before falling to UC Santa Barbara in the Semifinals.

Due to the venue size, a limited number of tickets will be offered to Republic FC Season Ticket Holders and the UC Davis Athletic Department. Tickets will not be on sale to the general public.

Single match tickets for Republic FC's 2016 USL season are now available on Ticketmaster.com. Sacramento Republic FC continues their preseason when they travel to face the Fresno Fuego on Thursday, Mar. 3 at Chukchansi Park in Fresno, Calif. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at FresnoFuego.com.
