Sacramento Republic FC Reaches 9,500 Season Tickets; Caps Season Ticket Sales for the Season

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 30, 2015) - Sacramento Republic FC announced today that they have capped their season tickets for the 2015 USL season after selling 9,500. In addition, over 600 deposits have been placed for a spot on a wait list for MLS-only season tickets. Republic FC will be accepting deposits from fans wishing to reserve a spot on the season ticket waiting list.

Republic FC leads all USL clubs with 9,500 season tickets and have surpassed their total of 6,105 season tickets in 2014, a 56 percent increase. Republic FC currently accounts for 21 percent of the USL's total attendance. Although season ticket packages are no longer available, a limited number of group and single match tickets remain. Bonney Field has a match day capacity of 11,242.

"Our fans continue to prove their passion for the city of Sacramento and Republic FC," said Republic FC President Warren Smith. "Sacramento is a soccer capital filled with fans that watch, play and attend professional matches. Hitting this goal, something not even achieved by numerous MLS clubs, demonstrates our market's demand and growth for professional sports."

Republic FC will be back in action when they take on Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Saturday, May 9 at Bonney Field. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Single match tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.
