Selected from the SaberCats roster with consecutive picks were FB/LB Keala Keanaaina (6-3, 264, California), who was taken in the 6th round, and DS Erin Damond (6-0, 190, Southern).

Keanaaina, who did not play during the 2005 season, was named a first-team All-AFL performer in 2003 after leading the league in rushing with a franchise record 250 yards. The former Cal standout played in 26 games over two seasons (2003-04) with the SaberCats rushing for 315 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Austin DS Kelvin Hunter, who played for Utah head coach Danny White for three seasons at Arizona (2002-04), was taken with the first pick in the draft. A complete list of selections is available at www.arenafootball.com.
