Round Rock Express News Release
ROUND ROCK - In conjunction with its recently announced partnership with FSN Southwest, Ryan Sanders Baseball announced Thursday that all seven live televised games will feature auctions for rare and genuine memorabilia from both the Triple-A Round Rock Express and the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks.
For each of the games - three from Round Rock, three from Corpus Christi and the 71st Texas League All-Star Game presented by Whataburger - used and autographed memorabilia will be featured with a link to both the Express' and the Hooks' websites, where the auctions will be hosted.
"This is a great opportunity for fans to own a piece of the game that they may not be able to find anywhere else," said Ryan Sanders Baseball President and CEO Reid Ryan. "Not only can fans watch the future of the Astros on FSN Southwest, but they can also get as close to the game as possible by owning a piece of it."
Items on the auction block include a Nolan Ryan autographed Texas flag that flew over Whataburger Field during Corpus Christi's 2006 Texas League Championship season, a game-worn batting helmet signed by former Express outfielder Hunter Pence, a Josh Anderson game-used bat with Anderson's autograph and much more.
Dates for the Ryan Sanders Game of the Week presented by Citgo for Round Rock's live airings include May 28, June 11 and July 8. Corpus Christi games will air on June 21, June 24 and July 15, and the 71st Texas League All-Star Game will be taped on June 26 and replayed on June 27. All seven games will be produced by Ryan Sanders Baseball and Austin-based Earl Miller Production and will feature an array of exciting interactive elements as they reach the southern viewing area, which includes 11 Triple- and Double-A markets.
