
Russell Canouse Expected to Miss 3-6 Weeks with Collapsed Lung

WASHINGTON - D.C. United midfielder Russell Canouse suffered a small pneumothorax (collapsed lung) to his left lung during the second half of the 0-0 draw against the Chicago Fire on Saturday, July 27. He was transported to Rush Hospital in Chicago where he had the pneumothorax drained. He was observed in the hospital for two nights and was discharged on Monday. He arrived back in Washington, DC on Tuesday, July 30. He is expected to miss 3-6 weeks.
