Calgary, AB - The Saskatchewan Rush fell 13-6 against the Calgary Roughnecks in the Saddledome Friday (Feb.10) night.

Zach Currier opened the scoring in the game, but the Rush led at the end of the first quarter thanks to goals from Ryan Keenan and Mark Matthews.

Marty Dinsdale had Saskatchewan's lone goal in the second frame and Alex Buque finished the opening half with 17 saves as the teams went to the dressing room tied 3-3.

The second half started off with a huge milestone hit as Kyle Rubisch picked up his 1500th loose ball, to make him the 11th NLL player all-time to accomplish that feat.

But from there, the fun stopped for fans in green as the Roughnecks piled it on with five straight goals in under four minutes to jump out to a big lead. Saskatchewan's powerplay which was dominant to start the season, was unable to generate much going 1/7 in the evening.

Bobby Kidd III scored his first goal of the season and Keenan added his second of the game to bring the Rush back within three goals early in the fourth quarter.

Then Calgary's offence flexed their abilities once again as Tanner Cook scored three times in the final frame and Tyler Pace added a pair, leading to the 13-6 win.

Christian Del Bianco stopped 44/50 shots thrown his way by the Rush. Buque finished the game 22/32 and Eric Penney 2/5.

Next up, the 4-3 Saskatchewan Rush will head south to face the top team in the west, the 6-1 San Diego Seals for another Friday faceoff on February 17th.
