Rush claims Bobby Sippio

March 29, 2006 - The Chicago Rush announced today it has claimed WR/DB Bobby Sippio off waivers from Tampa Bay.
As part of the future considerations portion of the preseason trade which sent WR/DB Jacques Rumph to Kansas City, the Rush exercised its right to move up in the claiming order and utilize the Brigade's waiver pick to claim Sippio.
Sippio had played in nine games with the Storm before being waived earlier this week, catching 55 passes for 666 yards and 18 touchdowns. He currently ranks eighth in the AFL in scoring with 120 points.
Chicago returns home to Allstate Arena Sunday, April 23, at 3 p.m. to host the Las Vegas Gladiators.
