Beckett.com AFL Collectible Player of the Week
March 29, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release
As if catching 10 passes for 124 yards and six touchdowns wasn't enough in a crucial game against Tampa Bay on Sunday, Chris Jackson also returned a kickoff 55 yards for another score. His seven touchdowns - a Georgia Force franchise record - accounted for 42 of the Force's 61 points in a 10-point victory.
For his performance, Jackson has been selected as the Beckett.com AFL Collectible Player of the Week for Week 9.
Jackson, the 2003 Offensive Player of the Year, has been one of the most productive performers in the AFL since entering the league in 2000. His average season entering 2006 included 98 receptions, 1,360 yards and 31 TDs. Through nine weeks of this season, he's on that same pace again, with 52 catches, 653 yards and 20 touchdowns.
