The Somerset Patriots defeated the Erie SeaWolves in walk-off fashion on Wednesday night by a final score of 5-4 at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, NJ.

Both games in the six-game set have been decided in 10 innings so far, while the win improved Somerset to 8-5 in extra-innings games.

The win marked Somerset's seventh in walk-off fashion this year and the Patriots' third in their last eight home games.

RHP Drew Thorpe (4.0 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 0 BB, 5 K, 1 HR) got a no-decision, after pitching four innings in his fifth Double-A start.

Jones ends the night with 182 strikeouts on the season, continuing to pace all minor league pitchers.

CF Spencer Jones (2-for-5, R, 3 SB) recorded his first career game with three stolen bases in what was his second multi-hit game at the Double-A level.

Jones ends the night with 39 total stolen bases on the season, which rank third in the Yankees organization (Jasson Dominguez & Brandon Lockridge, 40).

1B T.J. Rumfield (1-for-4, RBI, BB, 3 K) was the fifth consecutive Patriot to reach base to start the tenth inning, capping a three-run frame with the game-winning hit that brought home Ben Rice from third.

The hit was Rumfield's first for Somerset since July 23, after he was reinstated from the injured list on September 5.

Rumfield was credited with his third walk-off hit of the season, leading all members of the Patriots. With his 51st RBI, Rumfield continues to lead all active Patriots in that category.

RF Jeisson Rosario (1-for-3, RBI, BB, 2 K) extended his hit streak to a season-high-matching seven games, in which he is 9-for-24.
