TODAY: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies look for the four-game sweep against the Bowie Baysox at NYSEG Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT: The Rumble Ponies topped the Baysox 2-1 Saturday night. Jason Krizan hit the go-ahead sacrifice fly in the eighth to score Jacob Zanon. RHP Tommy Wilson tossed seven innings, giving up just one run on four hits and tallying a season-high nine strikeouts without issuing a single walk. Joseph Shaw earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief.

PONIES HITTING THEIR STRIDE: The Rumble Ponies have won eight of their last 11 games. By taking the first two games of this four-game series with the Baysox, the Ponies ended Bowie's streak of 14 consecutive series wins.

ZANON TALLIES TWO HITS IN PONIES DEBUT: In his first Double-A game, Jacob Zanon tallied went 2-3 with a double and scored the game-winning run. In 80 games with St. Lucie (A+), Zanon hit .245 with seven home runs and 42 RBI.

HAGGERTY STRETCHES HIT STREAK TO SEVEN: Sam Haggerty tallied two hits Saturday night to extend his hitting streak to a season-high seven games, during which he has recorded two hits four times. He is 11-29 (.379) during this stretch. against Bowie this season, Haggerty is hitting .417 in three games.

MAZEIKA ADDS TO RBI TOTAL: Patrick Mazeika drove in his 56th run of the season with an RBI double in the fourth Saturday night. He has driven in a run in four of the last five games, Mazeika ranks third in the Eastern League, just two shy of second place.

PONIES OWN SEASON SERIES: The Rumble Ponies have won five of six games against the Baysox this season. The Ponies won two out of three at Bowie (May 20-22). The two teams meet again next month at Bowie (August 19-21).

PONIES BATS VS. BAYSOX PITCHING: The Rumble Ponies are leading the Eastern League in batting average at .250 and are facing the league leaders in ERA. The Baysox have a 3.29 ERA. The top three pitchers in the EL for ERA have played for Bowie, including Thursday's starter Zac Lowther and Friday's starter Alex Wells.

BINGHAMTON EYES FIRST FOUR-GAME SWEEP: The Rumble Ponies are looking for their first four-game sweep of 2019. They have swept an opponent four times, most recently winning three straight at New Hampshire (June 18-20). The Ponies have yet to sweep a series at home.

COMING UP: The Rumble Ponies continue their eight-game homestand, when they welcome Erie to town Tuesday. RHP Tony Dibrell is slated to pitch in the opener with first pitch at 6:35PM.
