
RSL Readies for Saturday's Rocky Mountain Cup Opener with Utah-Based Practices Wed. through Fri.

SANDY, Utah (Tuesday, April 28, 2009) - After a brief respite for Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifying play tonight in Seattle, Real Salt Lake (3-2-0, 9 pts.) will return to MLS regular season action this Saturday, May 2, with the first of three clashes in the annual Rocky Mountain Cup against the archrival Colorado Rapids (2-2-2, 8 pts.). Saturday's contest - the only away leg for RSL in the rivalry series with the Rapids in 2009 - is slated for a 7:30 p.m. MT kickoff at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. To prepare for Saturday's contest, Real Salt Lake will hold a brief practice at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday upon its return from Seattle and conduct training sessions on Thursday and Friday mornings at its XanGo Field practice ground in Lehi.
Real Salt Lake's practice and match schedule for April 28-May 3, 2009, is listed below. All RSL practices are open to members of the media and the general public unless otherwise noted, with media availability for all players and coaches to immediately follow each session.
