Chicago, Illinois - Single game tickets to 5 Chicago Machine professional lacrosse home games go on sale Friday, May 1, 2009, at 10 am CDT. Tickets may be purchased at all TicketMaster locations or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased by calling (312) 255-1522.
This season, two home games will take place at historic Soldier Field, the first time lacrosse will have been played at the stadium. A Twitter Pre-Sale is underway until 10 am, Thursday, April 30, 2009, for the May 30 and August 8 Soldier Field home games. The special pre-sale code is available exclusively to followers of the Chicago Machine's twitter account, www.twitter.com/machinelax.
Additionally, the theme for the home opener is "Affordable Family Fun" day with tickets 50% off General Admission for all government employees and their families. To obtain the discounted tickets, call (312) 255-1522.

The Chicago Machine is in its 4th season as Chicago's outdoor professional men's lacrosse team, members of Major League Lacrosse (MLL). About Major League Lacrosse
Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premiere professional outdoor lacrosse league, commenced play in June of 2001. The MLL is comprised of six teams located in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Long Island, Toronto, and Washington. The ninth season of MLL action is slated to begin May 15, 2009. The 2009 MLL All-Star Game will take place on Thursday, July 16 in Denver, Colorado at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The season will culminate with the New Balance MLL Championship Weekend, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
