Omaha Storm Chasers News Release

OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals game vs. the Oklahoma City RedHawks, scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Rosenblatt Stadium, has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will still play a single, nine-inning game on Sunday beginning at 1:35 p.m. Tonight's rainout will be made up with a doubleheader on Monday, with the first pitch of the opening seven-inning contest slated for 5:05 p.m.

Tonight was supposed to have been Casey Soap Dispenser Night, with the first 1,500 fans receiving the giveaway item courtesy of Coca-Cola. It will be made up at a later date to be announced.

Ironically, the Royals had their game scheduled for April 25, 2008 vs. the Nashville Sounds at Rosenblatt postponed due to cold weather. It was the third of seven postponements of Royals home games last season.

Right-hander Luke Hochevar (3-0, 1.89), who was to have started tonight, is scheduled to be on the mound Sunday afternoon. Oklahoma City will counter with righty Doug Mathis (0-1, 2.50).

Sunday is U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art, plus after the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey! All Subway Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to the game, courtesy of Subway. Plus, any fan bringing an Our Family Brand food item to the stadium gets a FREE G.A. ticket! Also, area students who read four books in the Nebraska College Savings Program's "Hit the Books" program received a FREE ticket to the game. It's also Dance Team Day, with area dance groups performing throughout the game! The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM and KPTM.

For tickets, call the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100, or order and print tickets online at www.oroyals.com and at www.Etix.com.
