Royals to Face Rockets in Second Round of WHL Playoffs

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals will meet the Kelowna Rockets in the second round of the 2016 WHL Playoffs in a best-of-seven series beginning on Thursday, April 7th and Saturday, April 9th at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

The Royals defeated the Spokane Chiefs 4-2 in the first round of the WHL Playoffs. Victoria holds the top seed in the BC Division and Western Conference and will have home ice advantage versus Kelowna, who occupies the second spot in the BC Division, in the second round.

The Rockets won their first round best-of-series vs. the Kamloops Blazers 4-3.

Thursday, April 7th - Kelowna @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m.

Saturday, April 9th - Kelowna @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m.

Tuesday, April 12th - Victoria @ Kelowna - 7:05 p.m.

Thursday, April 14th - Victoria @ Kelowna - 7:05 p.m.

Friday, April 15th - Kelowna @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)

Sunday, April 17th - Victoria @ Kelowna - 5:00 p.m. (if necessary)

Tuesday, April 19th - Kelowna @ Victoria - 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
