Royals Radio Recon Returns to The Works at Wyomissing

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that Radio Recon, the team's weekly coach's show, will once again be based at The Works at Wyomissing, southeastern Pennsylvania's premier food and fun complex.

The one-hour radio talk show will run on Tuesday nights from 6 - 7 pm and will air live on the brand new Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast on True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading and WLAN 1390 am The Ticket in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Head Coach Jason Nobili will make his Radio Recon debut on Tuesday, October 14, when the show will kick off the 2008-09 season. Of course, fans are encouraged to attend and participate in the coach's show which will be hosted by Royals' broadcaster Mark Thompson and will take place in the same location as the last couple of years-the Crane Rail Bar on the second floor of The Works. In addition to question and answer segments with the coach, Radio Recon will continue to feature segments with Royals' players, questions and comments from the fans, trivia, and a spate of giveaways.

Founded in 2003, the Works at Wyomissing (1109 Bern Road, Wyomissing, PA; 610-375-2700) is housed in what was once a historic foundry that has been renovated into a 33,000 square foot state of the art dining and entertainment facility. The Royals open the 2008-09 regular season against the Elmira Jackals on Friday, October 17, 2008 at First Arena in Elmira, New York.
