Welcome Back: Victoria forward Phillip Schultz made his return to the line-up in tonight's game. Schultz had been away representing Denmark in the World Junior Championship Group A Division 1 Tournament, that took place from December 9-15 in Minsk, Belarus. Over the course of five games, Schultz recorded two goals and three assists to lead his team in scoring.

Streaking: With a goal in tonight's contest, Royals' forward Kaid Oliver extended his point streak to three games. During that span, Oliver has collected two goals and two assists.

First WHL Goal: Vancouver's Krz Plummer scored his first career WHL goal in tonight's game. Plummer has now tallied one goal in 31 career WHL games.
