Royals' Conacher Steps Down

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals announced today that Pat Conacher has stepped down from his positions of Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach.

Conacher joined the organization, the former Chilliwack Bruins, for the 2010-11 season. The Edmonton, AB native helped lead the Bruins to a 33-31-4-4 record good for 74 points and sixth place finish. The team qualified for the WHL Playoffs falling to Spokane in the first round in five games.

"We would like to thank Pat for all his hard work and dedication to the team," General Manager and Head Coach Marc Habscheid said. "I will miss him on both a professional and personal basis. We wish him success as he moves forward."
