Royals Announce Training Camp Roster

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced the team's 2011-12 Training Camp Roster. The Royals Training Camp Roster, which is comprised of ten forwards, six defensemen, and four goaltenders, is set out below. Reading has eleven players under ECHL contract currently attending AHL camps.
The Royals Pre-Season Training Camp on-ice practice sessions begin tonight, Friday, September 30 (@ 7:30 pm), at the Sovereign Center. The full Training Camp on-ice practice session schedule (with pre-season games also listed) is set out below. All Training Camp on-ice practice sessions for the Royals are held at the Sovereign Center and are open to the public. Please note that all times and dates are subject to change.

**Opening Day Roster Announced at approximately 5:00 pm**
The Royals will face the Cincinnati Cyclones in the team's 2011-12 home opener on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 7:05 pm at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. The team kicks off the season on the road against the South Carolina Stingrays in North Charleston, South Carolina, on Friday, October 14 (7:05 pm). That game, as with all Royals' road games this year, will be televised live courtesy of Royals TV presented by Boscov's Travel and Royal Caribbean Cruise lines in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV.
