Rox To Honor Area First Responders August 19

Brockton, Mass. - The Brockton Rox of the Can-Am League announced on Wednesday that the club will be hosting "Battle of the Badges Night," taking place on Thursday, August 19 at the Rox game against the New Jersey Jackals, starting at 7:05 p.m.

During the game, the team will be honoring local police and fire departments, and will have the two sides competing against one another during between-innings promotions.

The Rox will also be recognizing the newly-instituted Massachusetts Move Over Law, which requires drivers approaching a stationary emergency or maintenance vehicle with flashing lights to move to the next adjacent lane if it is safe to do so.
