
Rox Split Series with Huskies

St. Cloud, Minn. - The St. Cloud Rox fell to the Duluth Huskies 8-1 Wednesday night.
Marc-Andre Habeck (Georgia State University) started on the mound for the Rox and pitched 3.2 innings. Habeck recorded two strikeouts and only allowed three hits.
Chris Farish (Wake Forest University) came into the game in the sixth inning with one out and ended up going 3.2 innings and struck out four batters.
Eight Rox batters had hits tonight for a final total of 11 hits. Connor Crane (McNeese State) had two hits and scored the lone Rox run. Austin Athmann (University of Minnesota) and Brandon Benson (Georgia College) also collected two hits each.
Lee Miller (Davidson College) drove in Crane for the Rox's RBI while Webb Bobo (Southeastern Louisiana University) stayed hot by ripping a triple down the right field line in the second inning.
The Rox currently sit in second place in the North Division, just one game behind the Willmar Stingers.
The next Rox game will be tomorrow night as they host Eau Claire Express at 7:05 p.m. Gates at Joe Faber Field will open at 6:05 p.m. for fans. Tomorrow will be a Salute to Agriculture presented by AgStar Financial Services. All fans receive complimentary sweet corn as they leave the game.
