Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs rallied for four runs in the bottom of the third and defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks 7-1 on June 24 at Joannes Stadium.

Nathan Disch earned his first win of the season with just one run allowed in five innings with six strikeouts, as Green Bay improved its record to 15-12.

The Bullfrogs manufactured a run in the top of the first inning to grab an early 1-0 lead. Logan Taylor led off the frame with a walk, stole second and advanced to third on a groundout to second base. Danny Rosenbaum drove him in with a sacrifice fly to centerfield.

Green Bay added on to its lead in the third with a four-run inning. Robb Paller hit a high chopper over first baseman Zarley Zalewski's head for a RBI double. Mikey Duarte doubled down the rightfield line to score two more, and Matthew De La Rosa added another run with a RBI single to right to give the Bullfrogs a 5-1 lead.

Disch found himself in trouble in the top of the fifth inning with the bases loaded and nobody out but gave up just one run. Disch struck out Joe Romano, and Kyle Fiala reached on a fielder's choice to third base to score David Edson. Following a mound meeting with Field Manager Darrell Handelsman, Disch got Lucas Raley to fly out to left field to limit the damage.

The Bullfrogs benefitted by a solid effort from their bullpen. Relievers Matt McCarthy, Connor Donovan and Jake Stolley did not allow a hit in a combined four innings of work.

Green Bay added a pair insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth without recording a hit. The Bullfrogs took advantage of two walks and two errors to extend their lead to 7-1.
