
Rox, Skyhawks Rained Out

Augusta, NJ (July 4, 2007) -- Rains in Sussex County, NJ caused a delay prior to the first pitch and again in the top of the first inning, and ultimately forced the postponement of the July 4th affair between the Brockton Rox and Sussex Skyhawks in Augusta, NJ. The teams commenced play 83 minutes late and played 11 minutes before the game was ultimately postponed. All action will be wiped from the record books. The teams will next meet on August 16th at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton.
The Rox return home on Friday, July 6th to take on the Can-Am Grays at 7:05 PM at Campanelli Stadium. RHP John Kelly (2-1, 1.86 ERA) makes the start for the Rox.
