Rox Announce Special Memorial Day Program

Brockton, MA (May 14, 2008) - The Rox have announced a special Memorial Day program to honor local military servicemen, women, and veterans. The Rox will be offering free entry to anyone with a military ID to see the Rox host the Sussex Skyhawks at 6:05 p.m. The 215th Army Band will also be on hand to perform.

The 215th Army Band has performed throughout the world for over 60 years and will take part in Monday's pre-game festivities. The band will play a selection of patriotic songs as a tribute to the military service of our American heroes.

"We look forward to having our local servicemen, women, and veterans in attendance together," says Rox President Jack Yunits. "Having their presence at Campanelli Stadium on Memorial Day will certainly be special, and we look forward to honoring their service."

Anyone with a military ID card is welcome to pickup his or her free ticket at the Rox ticket office.

Group tickets may also be ordered in advance by calling the Rox front office at (508) 559-7000. The Rox can arrange for military groups to sit together.

The Brockton Rox host the Nashua Pride on Opening Night presented by CVS/pharmacy on Saturday, May 24th. Single game tickets are now on sale by calling the Rox Ticket Office at (508) 559-7070 or online at: www.brocktonrox.com.
